Registering to Attend
To register for the conference, all attendees must first sign-up to the University of Pretoria portal.

Only once you have signed up on the portal will you be able to register to attend the conference.
You will be able to login to the portal to make changes to your registration if needed.

There is a variety of registration fees available for ALEPH2024.
All fees are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Financial members of GLEPHA (the Global Law Enforcement and Public Health Association) must register through the link below to obtain their discounted registration fee
If you are not a member of GLEPHA, you can join GLEPHA to obtain the discounted conference registration fee.
Full Conference

Day Registration
Professional development is critical to respond more effectively to changes in the field. We understand your busy schedule and invite you to expand your knowledge with the relevant content on the day you prefer.
Group Saver Registrations
Get five full conference registrations for the price of four if you register five delegates from the same organisation at the same time. Get ten full conference registrations for the price of eight if you register ten delegates from the same organization at the same time.
Five (5) full conference registrations for the price of four (4): ZAR 26,000
Ten (10) full conference registrations for the price of eight (8): ZAR 52,000

One full registration can be shared between three delegates: each of three delegates gets access to one day of the conference: for this option, please contact the ALEPH2024 Conference Secretariat on aleph@up.ac.za for further instructions.
Session proposal: you can propose a session in the conference program with four speakers and a convenor, with the same discount: five registrations for the price of four. See the Call for Abstracts and Proposals or contact the Conference Program Director on nick.crofts@unimelb.edu.au.

Payment Options
The preferred payment method for online registrations is with a Visa or Mastercard. American Express is not accepted.

Cancellation and Substitutions Policy
Requests for cancellations received by email at aleph@up.ac.za on or before 20 November 2024 will incur a ZAR 350 cancellation fee.
If you have registered and are unable to attend the conference you may transfer your registration to someone else. Requests must be made by the person registered and must be received by email on or before 20 November 2024. No substitutions will be granted after 20 November 2024.
Letters of Invitation
Delegates requiring a letter of invitation for gaining permission or support to attend, or for a South African visa application, or for any other reason, should contact the Conference Program Director, Nick Crofts, on nick.crofts@unimelb.edu.au or the Conference Secretariat on aleph@up.ac.za
International Delegates – Visas
International delegates may require a visa to enter South Africa. Please visit https://www.vfsglobal.com/dha/southafrica/
The visa application process may take up to several months – so please apply early!
Once your registration is paid, you will receive an electronic confirmation of your registration. We will confirm receipt of payment but this does not constitute an invitation for visa application purposes.
